How do I know how much oil was delivered?
Our tankers have the technology to monitor all deliveries and print a delivery ticket showing you the precise amount dispensed.
Can you make unattended deliveries?
Providing we can gain access to your tank you don't need to be present when we deliver your fuel. All our deliveries are metered and you will receive a printed reading of the precise amount dispensed, so you know exactly how much heating oil we have delivered. These meters are regularly checked by Trading Standards.
Within your fleet do you have different sized delivery vehicles?
Yes. Whatever your requirement we have the delivery capabilities. We have four, six and eight wheeled tankers, as well as large multi-compartment articulated lorries so that we can deliver a variety of fuels to most locations. If you have a business that is situated in a remote or restricted area, please let us know and we'll send an appropriate vehicle for your delivery.
Can I have my oil delivered automatically?
Yes. Scottish Fuels Fuels can supply fuels without your business having to place an order over the phone. To discover which planned delivery option best suits your business needs please call 0845 300 88 44 and speak to one of our customer service representatives.
Once I have placed an order how long will it take for my delivery oil to arrive?
We will usually deliver to you within 3 to 5 days. However, during busy times the delivery window may become wider. If you need a quick delivery please make sure you state this when you place your order. To make sure you never run out it's a good idea to keep checking your oil level, install a Watchman sensor or call us to discuss our planned delivery options.

What if I discover a leak or spill?
If you have an oil/fuel leak you should ring the Environment Agency emergency hotline on 0800 807060. In addition, responsible businesses often invest in spill kits in order to contain a potential spill or leak. Scottish Fuels supplies a range of spill kits which are available to purchase separately - please refer to the Spills & Dispensing option on the Tanks & Accessories tab, alternative call us direct on 0845 300 88 44.
